The Kingwin Lazer Platinum LZP-1000 easily jumps to forefront of quiet, powerful PSUs. The notable merits are numerous. The absence of electronic buzz, whine, or hum was notable. This is only the second PSU sample to exhibit such stony silence in 10 years of testing PSUs at SPCR labs. This quality is a great match to the l cooling fan. which does not turn on till 500W or higher in normal ooperation, and stays quiet and smooth throughout the power range. Silentpcreview.com

Overall, the Kingwin Lazer Platinum 1000W Power Supply is a reliable and efficient power supply. Getting an 80PLUS Platinum certification isn't that common now-a-days, especially for higher wattage PSU's. Typically speaking, the higher the wattage, the less efficient power supplies are, so it's nice to see a higher wattage PSU with an 80PLUS Platinum certification. Thinkcomputers.org

Matching the total score of last week's Enermax review is the Kingwin LZP-1000. This right here is a very solid, very well behaved unit that just so happens to carry 80 Plus Platinum certification with it. It is currently cheaper than the Seasonic units it's in direct competition with, and is only really lacking in comparison with those units on voltage regulation. And even that isn't lagging by much.
